WHY WAS THIS PRODUCTION SYSTEM CREATED?
The existence of shorter manufacturing times than its competitors has always been one of the factors behind the success of SEW - Eurodrive. The start has already been made with the geared motors, which reach the customers within a few days when required, and now this is possible for industrial gear units as well.
By consistently analyzing the machines and their features sold in recent years, it was possible to identify those who were most in demand. The spare parts required for these industrial gear units have started to be manufactured systematically, in appropriate quantities and are now in stock at SEW - Eurodrive factories. Having the appropriate stocks and types of spare parts, the ATO5 (Assemble-To-Order-5) manufacturing system emerged.
WHEN DOES IT START?
The new ATO5 construction system has been launched as of September 1st, 2020. High torque geared motors and industrial gear units can be shipped within five working days from the manufacturing plant or even in one day, if there is an emergency, with almost no restrictions. Of course, this also depends on their availability. The ATO5 construction system covers most of your needs.
